Legacy Capital Network was born out of real-world experience — not theory. Founder Shawn Latham began his journey in the heart of Texas, working in his family’s oil and gas drilling business. That early exposure to operations, risk, and investor relationships shaped his understanding of what it really takes to fund a business.
Over time, Shawn expanded into real estate, wealth management, and private equity — learning the full lifecycle of both raising and deploying capital. After years of watching founders struggle with unreliable lead sources and complex fundraising processes, he saw an opportunity to simplify it.
In 2005, he launched Legacy Capital Network — a firm dedicated to connecting accredited investors with founders who have the vision, grit, and potential to grow. Today, Legacy operates nationally, offering verified investor data, personalized outreach, and even deal-closing services for high-potential businesses across the U.S.
